Grant of Adboc Allowance to Autonomous Semi-Aytonomous Bodies and Corporation - FINANCE DIVISION (Regulations Wing)

Grant of Adhoc Allowance – 2010 @ 50% of Basic Pay to the Executive/Supervisory Staff of Autonomous/Semi-Autonomous Bodies and corporations.
The undersigned is directed to refer to the subject noted above and to state that consequent upon the grant of Adhoc Allowance – 2010 @ 50% of basic pay to the civil servants in BPS 1-22 w.e.f. 01-07-2010 vide Finance Division’s O.M. No.F.l(l)/Imp/2010-622 dated 05-07-2010, it has been decided that the Adhoc Allowance – 2010 will also be applicable to the employees of Autonomous/Semi-autonomous Bodies and Corporations, which have adopted the Federal Government’s Basic Pay Scales Scheme in totality.


PTCL Management Annouces Salary Package 2010 – PTCL Workers Reject and decide to protest

On Wednesday 11 August, 2010 Late Night PTCL Management Has announced the Salary Package 2010 for PTCL employees. Notification of Package received in the morning of 12 August, 2010, After reading notification Workers became astonished and termed it “Farud with PTCL Workers”. They stop their work and chanted slogan against the PTCL Managemet. Employees were demanding 50% increase on Current Basic Pay.

Employees in Grade 1-19 or equivalent (including PTCL D/Wages)
1 Basic Pay subject to
- Min. Rs. 8,000
- Max. Rs. 16,000
GMs or equivalent Rs. 25,000
EVPs / SEVPs Rs. 30,000

Government of Pakistan issue notification of 50% Adhoc Allowance for Employees:
Announced in Federal Budget 2010-2011 that every public sector employee will receive an adhoc allowance equal to 50% of current Basic Pay. Government of Pakistan issue Notifications of increase in Pension and Medical Allowance for Civil and Military:

Announced in Federal Budget 2010-2011 that Pensioners or retired employees of civil and military will receive 15% to 20% increase in pension and 20% to 25% of total pension drawn as a medical allowance. Notification issued by Finance division vide memorandum No.F.4(1)-Reg.6/2010/721 dated Islamabad 5th July, 2010 and No.F.16(1)-Reg.6/2010-778 dated Islamabad 5th July, 2010
