Subject: Increase in pension and Grant of medical allowance to over 39 thousand pensioners of Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited as per Govt. of Pakistan’s announced in budget June-2010.

It is brought to your kind notice that in recent budget (June-2010) Govt. of Pakistan passed increase in pension vide Government of Pakistan Finance Division (Regulations Wing) Letter # F.4 (1)-Reg.6/2010-721 Islamabad, the 5th July, 2010 and grant of medical allowance vide Government of Pakistan Finance Division (Regulations Wing) Letter # F.16 (1)-Reg.6/2010-778 Islamabad, the 5th July, 2010 for retired persons. But it is very strange that pension and medical allowance of over 39 thousand pensioners of PTCL not yet increased since more than 6 months passed while other department’s pensioner received increased pension and medical allowance as per Govt. announcement.
I requested all concerned through e-mail and protest all over country was made by pensioners which published in various newspapers but no action taken so far. It is not only my matter but it is the matter of over 39 thousand old men/women, widows and orphans pensioners. This was first time in PTCL history that increased pension not paid to PTCL pensioners. For example I retired in year 2005 and received increased pension every year regularly without any delay (other PTCL pensioners also received increase accordingly).
Now I have left no choice after the all mighty of ALLAH that I approach your honor for help. Because previous record proved that you always helped deserved persons and above mentioned are most deserved persons. It is very difficult for PTCL pensioners to continue their lives in such high inflation.
Kindly instruct the concerned authorities to pay increased pension and grant medical allowance along with arrears w.e.f. July 1, 2010 without further delay as announced by Govt. of Pakistan.

The letter written by Mr.Arif Hussain Khan from Lahore to Honourable Chief Justice of Pakistan Chaudhry Iftikhar Hussain Saheb is appreciated but the similar already written from Karachi by Mr.Riaz & 2nd letter address to the chief Justice again mentioned actual facts on behalf of ptcl pensioners.
All senior citizen of Pakistan affecties of PTCL & PTET humble request to the Chief of Pakistan arrest PTCL CHAIRMAN without any furthey delay alleging killing of human rights & creating unfair practice. thanks

efforts of mr arif is appriciated . it is suggested that similar request may kindly be made to mian nawaz sharif and opposition leader ch.nisar for taking notice on the floor of national assembly and in senate for this ignoring of human rights who effecting large no of widows pensioners and old age citizens.

Of Pakistan which is last hope of poor and deserved persons

I think we have wasted enough time.Now it`s time to move forward and knock the door of court for our right.One thing we noticed that high ranking officers(retired) failed to come up with full force in this regard.If we stand united,all the hurdles will INSHA ALLAH be removed.

We must be together like KSC workers and protest should be raised at the highest strength in front of National Assembly or Supreme court. Let us select a body from our friends at all parts of country to pursue and contact the people of our walk.We can arrange meetings for this purpose. If this proposal is accepted then I would be agreed to host the same at Lahore.

Mr.Babar is quite right for staging protests at selected points,but we are scattered throughout the country whereas KESC employees used to perform duties at same place.To bring pensioners out of homes is a quite difficult task as most of them become weak and involved in different diseases.Anyhow we must try to arrange such protests.
Mr. Arif Hussain has properly mentioned the problems of ptcl retired employees. It is quite strange, why this discremination is for PTCL retired employees, when all other senior citizens have been granted this increase in pension? I also request to the authorities to look into the matter and save us from starving in these days of high cheapness.

THE OLD AGE ITSELF IS A CURSE BUT IT BECOMES ONE HELL WHEN INCOME SHRINKS AWAY AND HE AND HIS WIFE USED TO BE CAUGHT BY THE DISEASES. what is the progress in the increase of pension 20-percent announces by finance minister in recent budget for 2011-2012. Kindly guide me to whom I contact for this purpose as I have been retired in bps-8 on 4th December 1994 when I was Federal Government Servant.

assalamu alaikum
I am 54+ years old senior officer of Bureau of Curriculum & Extension Centre,, Quetta, being victimized by some officers of Provincial Secondary Education Department Balochistan and BOC & EC because;
i. I pointed out substandard goods supplied by CIDA and many times requested for replacement but no action was taken till this date.
ii. I refused to draw salary on Fake/Bogus Appointment Order of Abdul Rasheed, CT Trainee (Migrated from GCEE, Kalat).
iii. I pointed out many irregularities of Mr. Allah Dina, SST of the College but no inquiry was conducted by the concerned authorities till
this date reasons best known to them.
And as punishment on 14/01/2012 I was replaced by junior officer (Just promoted in B-18) who forcefully took the charge of the college. My pay for the current month i.e. January, 2012 was stopped (my only source of income). I was posted as Principal, GCE, Kalat. Kalat is not safe place for settlers.
It is prayed to save me and my family from continuous mental torture and life threat.
