Burewala PTCL DSL internet poor service – Subscribers faces great difficulties : Daily ‘TheNews’ May 12, 2011
BUREWALA (May 11, 2011) : Citizens have criticised the Pakistan Telecommunication Company (PTCL) for poor broadband Internet service, which is hampering the people’s working.
Talking to The News, Ali Usman, a student, said that the PTCL broadband service had been badly affected for the last 10 days. He said that he was a regular user of the Internet, but the service faced difficulties, including no connectivity and slow browsing, especially during the peak hours. Asghar Ali, another user, said that he had contacted the PTCL call centre for lodging his complaint, but the staffers informed that they were facing a technical fault in Vehari and it would be rectified.
Subscribers alleged that PTCL authorities had not enough bandwidth to meet their demands. They said that choice of one-broadband Internet service was not justified. When contacted, PTCL staffers admitted their failure in rectifying the fault. They demanded the government rectify the system fault and increase bandwidth of the broadband service as per demands to meet the standard broadband services.
