Being a main petitioner in petition No.522/2011, I want to convey cordial thanks to Honourable Chief Justice Islamabad High Court Mr Iqbal Hamid ur Rahman not only from my side but on behalf of 40,000 PTCL pensioners also. May Almighty Allah bless him sound health, long life and prosperity. It is a matter of pride for me to be the only pensioner present there to hear his historic judgement. We wish him all the best.

    Dear all friends

all of you need not to worry whether this decision will be applicable to petitioners only or all pensioners.

I am working now a days at Civil Court, Lahore. In fact, for the time being, this benefit is only for the petitioners of the writ petition. But later on, when any petition is moved to the court on the same plea, the honourable court will issue a direction for implementation of the same judgment to all pensioners also.

So let us pray ALLAH. HE will definitely help all of us, INSHA ALLAH.

    Regards,

  8. My dear pensioners,

Ratchet up pressure on PTCL, on every increase in pension by govt. of Pakistan, till it is liquidated (Insha-ALLAH) & Government of Pakistan take over the pension payment in accordance with the TELECOMS REORGANIZATION ACT 1996.

  9. Iftikhar Ahmad says:

    Beware Devil (Shetaan)is always there.

  10. Muhammad Tauqeer says:

Shouldn`t some Pensioners Association be a petitioner in such case to remove these kind of suppositions?

  11. Muhammad Aman Ullah says:

    Dear Colleagues,
Thanks Mirza Riaz Sahib, all confussin now have been removed. We all pensioners are now waiting the PTCL Notification accourding to Decision of IHC.
The following point is very very & very considerable.
“Secondly,IHC has condemned both previous notices of 8% increase and cosidered as unlawful. It means that these notices will be cancelled and re-issued,which will be for all.”

ZINDA BAD CHIEF JUSTICE OF ISLAMABAD HIGH COURT

  12. Mirza Riaz Baig says:

    Mr Tauqeer,
I was also confused on this matter in the begining, but two points relieved me and I am hopeful now that this judgment is applicable to all pensioners.

    1) Will all 40,000 pensioners file petitions for this right?? It is obvious,NO.

    2) Secondly,IHC has condemned both previous notices of 8% increase and cosidered as unlawful. It means that these notices will be cancelled and re-issued,which will be for all.

    Allah Is with us.Don’t worry.
