Intel Pakistan unveils its upcoming initiatives and briefed achievements during year 2012
Islamabad (Sunday, December 16, 2012) – Intel Pakistan held its year end session to brief the media on its achievements during year 2012 and highlighted company’s initiatives for the upcoming year.

Country Manager for Intel in Pakistan Naveed Siraj said that 2012 was an exciting year for the company in the Asia Pacific region. He said that evolution in technology from the region made possible for the world to see devices with an immersive and personal computing experience, while Intel remained a driving force behind this innovation.
Intel’s Next Generation Processors
Siraj stated that Intel made a jump forward by unveiling next generation processors that changed the way people use and interact with computing technology. Intel also continued its work to help transform Asia into a global powerhouse through a focus on education, encouraging the adoption of 21st century skills and investing in Asian start-ups and entrepreneurs across the region.
Intel focus on smart phones processors
Naveed Siraj emphasized that Intel is also focusing on smart phones get handheld devices powered by Intel processors. He said that the first smart phones with Intel Inside(r) launched across high-growth markets such as India, China, Europe and Latin America.
Intel International Science and Engineering Fair
Intel has revealed that thirty-six teams from Asia were selected as finalists for the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair.
This year the competition attracted more than 1,500 talented high school students from around the world to compete for over US$3 million in prizes and grants.
