Kalam (Swat) Telephone Exchange Closed, Appeal for Restoration of DSL facility

Mingora – Swat (May 20, 2012) / Daily Azadi Swat – Digital Telephone Exchange of famous tourist place Kalam is shutdown for two years. Peoples are facing great difficulties in communication and internet services. journalists are also facing problem in sending news reports of Kalam area to their concern newspapers and news channels.

It is requested to restore Kalam digital telephone exchange and its broadband DSL services as soon as possible.

  1. sir i live in swat and my village name is dadahara in dadahara the ptcl exchange is exist but there is no DSL service in today modern world we are still unable to this service sir there are many user wants DSL service approximately 160 or may be over kindly provide us DSL service thank u.

  2. It is very strange and immense of pleasure that the people of village still liked and in need of land line phone connections in this mobile age. The top management should take it seriously and probe into the matter for necessary action at the earliest.
