Mazhar Hussain Message on Salary Increase & Annual Bonus for PTCL Employees for Year 2014
It’s my pleasure to convey that 2013 concluded with continued success and growth for PTCL as the targeted operational and financial results were achieved during this period. Notable performance in PSTN and BB domains, supplemented by growth in the international and wholesale business, caused our revenues to soar and profits to rise. We believe this all has been made possible due to the dedication, commitment, and hard work of our employees who despite of tough competition and rough market conditions managed posting this success. We sincerely congratulate all of you for this achievements against challenging market place.
PTCL management has always emphasized upon bringing a performance based culture in the company by acknowledging and appreciating our loyal employees for their hard work and devotion. With this objective in mind, the management has decided to announce a significant salary increase as well as annual bonus for all eligible PTCL employees with effect from 1st April, 2014. The salary increase, up to 32% of the running basic salary, would be based upon the individual performance ranking of the employees. Similarly, the bonus amount has also been enhanced to share the benefit of higher profit with our employees who will be paid with the salary of this month. For management staff, Bonus has also been linked with the performance system to be determined by the performance categorization of an individual employee. The details of the salary increase and bonus amounts vis-à-vis the performance ranking are given in the annexed memos.
This increase in salaries is a re-iteration of our resolve to share and celebrate the success with our employees and bring about a culture in the organization that links every reward and benefit to performance and conduct of the employees. We truly value our employees exhibiting higher levels of performance and are entitled to more and bigger rewards.
We are sure that this salary increase would act as a catalyst in upping the performance benchmarks in the company with employees committing themselves to still higher performance levels and bringing laurels to the organization in reciprocating this gesture on the part of the management. We look forward to more collective and coherent efforts from our talented and committed PTCL family members to keep this momentum of success intact and make the year 2014 a great success.
