Mobile phone imports down by 2.75 percent in October, 2012
Islamabad (Friday, November 30, 2012) – Imports of mobile phone sets into the country fell by 2.75 percent in October 2012 against previous month of current year, according to data of Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS).
The mobile imports during October 2012 stood at $56.550 million against imports of $58.147 million in September 2012. Comparing with corresponding period of last year, the mobile import has been recorded at $55.578 million, registering an increase of 1.75 percent.
The mobile imports during first July-October of the year 2012-13 witnessed an increase of 1.63 percent against the same period of last year going up from $219.878 to $223.463 during same period last year. (APP)
