Subject: Placement in the Next Promotion Scale on the Basis of 12

Years Qualifying Service

PTCL Management has decided to allow the placement of all non-management Regular employees in the next higher scale, as per channel of promotion, on account of 12 years, or more, qualifying service up to 30-9-2010 subject to the following conditions:

1. Employees undergoing any disciplinary proceedings against them will not be entitled for this placement

2. Any person found involved in any illegal activity damaging the company’s

reputation shall not be eligible for this placement. This placement may also be withdrawn if a person is found guilty of any misconduct in future involving any illegal activity.

3. A certificate shall be signed by the concerned Manager and countersigned by Sr. Manager on the enclosed proforma. Cases of placement shall be approved by the concerned General Manager on provision of all relevant documents including above mentioned certificate duly endorsed by concerned SM HR.

4. Any clarification regarding this process on case to case basis will be decided by the SEVP (HR).
