(Text of SEVP HR Message)

It’s a pleasure to announce that the exercise of performance assessment of all non management staff according to the parameters of good conduct, punctuality and discharge of basic duties has been completed through online Performance Management System (PMS) through SAP. As the management is always desirous to extend maximum benefits to the employees so a very lenient approach has been adopted in this exercise and around 95% employees have been qualified for 20% increase in salary.
This increase is being paid in the salary of January along with arrears  from 1st. July 2010.
Remaining 5% employees could not meet the minimum performance mark and regrettably do not qualify for this salary enhancement. However as a special gesture, the management has  decided to give one more chance to these employees to get this increase by improving their performance during 6 months from January to June 2011. These employees will be guided about their weak areas and their performance will be evaluated again in June. In case they improve their performance and qualify, they will be given 20% increase in salary with retrospective effect from 1st. July 2010 and the arrears of whole year will be paid to them.

We appreciate the contribution of our employees and urge to improve their performance to bring better quality of service to the customers and productivity. We sincerely hope that they will reciprocate the same gesture and will put in their best efforts towards taking PTCL on the path to success and glory.

    We are 6 employees of Power Plant NMC MRD IGE Complex Karachi. It is a big power plant of communication in Pakistan. Bur sorry to say that we are not eligible for 20% increment Why. We dont no why our officer Mr. Peero Mal SE-NMC-MRD Switching Network-I Karachi give Bad remarks for us.
    We work round the clock duties daily without any absentees.
    Power Plant NMC MRD IGE Complex Karachi is the major area of PTCL Communication which is providing power to whole building of IGE Complex and Systems.
    We perform duties in Govt. strikes, Public Holidays and other major events.
    We are total 6 Staff in Power Plant.
    We requested to higher authorities to visit our Exchange and look our performance.
    If we are Redundant staff than how This big Communication Power Plant System Run.


  2. we all ptcl workers thanks ptcl mangment.but kindly take on duty all employees who are dismiss or not on service.we shall then feel happy.what is 5% employees.because officers are very un happy with the employees who did not take part in strike or union activety.so it is the time for officrs to stop 20% of these employees.because officers are anti with atisalat

Dear ptcl workers plz don,t forget the struggle of our brave leaders AMAD QURESHI,Malik Maqbool,Rana Hassan and others great ptcl workers who stand for our rights and shown character in front of cruel ptcl managment.this 20% increase in pay is just because of their sacrifices and true leadership.The tyrannic Management put our leadership behind the bars and put false accuses on our true leaders , Mazhar Hussain(sevphr) fabricated conspiracies against them and touch the height of tyranny through their dismissal from jobs, stoppage of medical facility and hundred of other ptcl workers.

  10. increase in 30percent and now 20 percent is due to the great struggle and securfice of our leaders Ammad qureshi malik maqbool rana hassan malik habib and other hunderd of their cmpanians who are still out of service without pay from last six months ,dont forgetv them.our tru leaders which are facing hardship and are still fighting for our rights.we proud and soulte them and there brave fellows.

    This is not so good to snach 20 % increase in the remaining 5 % empoyees in the forum of poor performance. Becasue all the employees perform their duties to the best of their knowlege and deserve for 20 % increase equally.Performance should count on highier level as they controling theri large area and gets more and more benifits at all level.
