In June 2011 PTCL management announced to raise the salaries of employees (Management and Non-management).
For Management Employees it was announced to raise pay from 5% to 15% (5% for all and 10% on performance base).
For Non-Management Employees it was announced to raise pay from 10% to 20% (10% for all and 10% on performance base).
Now PTCL Management has implemented his decision on all employees. You are requested to vote in this poll and write your comments also in favour of your selected option.

It means that PTCL Employees which were appointed in PTCL Before 1996, they are not Govt.Employee, because the above vote system show that PTCL Management treated them as (Private) PTCL Employee. If they are Governemnt Servants or employees why they are participat in the voting system.
this system of pay increase is not good because that you can see in switching region lahore SM rashida hussain awarded numbers of performance to management staff.But you can imagine that she is non technical person and also she is junior person then employee whom she is awarding performance numbers.PTCL management kindly take action against her.

We, the employess of PTCL reject this performance based increase in pay. Management has awarded performance numbers on personal like and dislike basis. Toad eaters and flatters got 100 % performance, where as hard workers were badly neglected.
We all the PTCL employees already reject the UPS and agree with BPS. This performance based increase in pay and the management has awarded to personal employees working at officers home and personal work and the hard workers was neglected.

Management probably don,t know about performance.In our offices performance means to do everything legal or unlegal according the will of our boses.If you work according the rules n regulation this is the biggest crime,and they will send your bad report.Is there any person in the management who try to find is this report is true.They only act what they have been sent.This is totally wrong exercise.Such a big profitable department and the contractual staff taking huge pays and benefits,this is their performance that depends only on reports?Listen contract mafia think about your performance.Have u the capability to avail all these benefits and heap of amounts.????????????????

Annual Governamental annouced increase must be given to all employess equally and without performance basis. However PTCL Top Management wants to increase further salary excluding governmental increase then we are agree on performance.

The Pak Telecomm; Company Limited has no been sold on 26 % share (which cost might still unpaid) but the present management the UAE Personnel are getting profit/dividend of all 26 % shares. The Government of Pakistan
is giving then favour. On the other hand they have bad behavior with the employes /Pensioners. Ignoring the governments orders they have managed a “NATAK” of KPI based increase in pay and pensioners ignored. I am agree with performance increase of salary, but it is mentioned here that Operation statt are hard working for sale of PSTN but they did not pay any increase in the salary, as they are working door to door for win back and sold out the PSTN in heat of 55 in interrior sindh, but it has found that swiching official/officer, DSL official/officer and others who are working in ACs have got 20% but whose they are working in sun light got 12 to 14% of the official, it is not good for hard worker.

Salary increase for PTCL/Government BPS owned on performance base is totally bullshit of PTCL Management. The Policy makers of this criteria are contractual/temporary employees having salaries in millions not in thousands. The regular employees of PTCL are earning salaries in BPS. PTCL biased Management make a criteria on performance base, and one more interesting thing of this is that it means (i) pick and choose (ii) forced ranking (iii) The contractual employees get benefit from this policy in thousands, I explain how, actually their basic pay has been increased the increase merged in their basic pay through which the its 20% of basic pay goes to utility allowance and 45% of basic pay goes to House Requisition Allowance, so their pay increases three times. One Basic Pay increase second 20% utility allowance increase third 45% HRA increase so 65% plus average 12% of basic pay increase this impact is in of thousand for each contractual employees. The staff / officers, EVP (OD), HR Department, SEVP HR all are contractual employees there is nothing any of regular employees representative neither PTCL Management think for betterment of regular employees or pensioner. While regular employees are granted an average of 7.5% increase of their basic pay as an allowance. Which is in hundreds not more than one thousand till BPS-18. One more interesting thing is that when this 7.5% of basic pay increases as an additional allowance their tax slab also changed and tax increases so the increase goes to Federal Government Pocket and employee bears the burden of Management increase / reward. Shame for such Management who make policies only for their relatives and contractual employees. Inflation does not see the performance. There is a thing either the Government of Pakistan or CL Management is, one of them is MAD. PTCL Management is a CROWD of Mental. A Judgement day is close to every one INSHA ALLAH. There is a crowd of BPS-20, 21 and 22 on contractual. These all are comprises on contractual employees. There is nothing any proportion or ratio to balance the employees. They all are one group called contractual employees and all facilities are only for them. Vehicles worth of billion are given on permanent basis on book value. There are 12 SEVPS of BPS 22. Each SEVP is drawing Salary of 2.5 million per month plus facilities of the same amount like Official residence, Medical for them and their children and parents, EVO, NITRO, Islamabad Club Membership, Official Vehciles, (Govt BPS-22 allowed 200 littres) while these are drawing 4000 litters of petrol per month, at least 4 telephone connections at their residence one ISDN connection, one mobile phone all telephone are with unlimited ceiling, DSL. When U count all these facilities these are above 5 million per month for each SEVP. What a Department, shame, what a organization shame.

Media is keep quite because SEVP (Commercial) is granted presidential award for giving bribe in billion of rupees to APNS and his name is also recommended by APNS for presidential award. Because he gave billion of rupees in a shape of advertisement to media. PAISA BOLTA HAY BHAI PAISA (NET CASH). Each and every body may see PTCL advertisement of Vfone, Ufone, DSL and Land line so others in the Media print as well as electronic media. PTCL is only the Land Line service provider in the country and needs not to advertise and spend billions of rupees to media but they made it to keep the mouth shut of media.
Media never gave projection of PTCL employees never to pensioners because their owners get their share in cash. Media is not independent but their objective is profit maximization. Same objectives is of our contractual employees and PTCL Management. If their policies continue and this Management crowd exist till next year PTCL will also will one of the Departments like Railway without engine PIA without Aeroplan wapda without electricity steel mill without steel banks with out cash and operating on loans so the future of PTCL is also with out telephone. There will be not customer of PTCL and these contractual employees flown to DUBAI.

SEVP (Commercial) did not present award to APNS but APNS recommend his name for Presidential Award so he SEVP (Commercial) get presidential award through APNS, this is first thing U did not understand I think now it is clear. The commercial department pay advertisement worth in billions of rupees of Ufone, DSL, Land Line, IPTV, Vfone and so many to APNS for distribution among news papers and media in shape of bribe. While employees and pensioners have not PAISA (CASH) to give to APNS for their right or to get projection in media.
UR question that how we fight for our rights, its simple. There are 40,000 pensioners and 30,000 regular employees of PTCL deprived from their right. When they all together there are 70,000 employees plus pensioners. If each person support at least a family of six persons then we are 420,000 people. When we have a good leader ship intelligent people and hard workers having good contacts with political
parties our MNAs, MPAs from Peshawer to Karachi and Quetta. PTCL employees and pensioners are in the whole country we all contact our leaders, Elections are not so far there is only one year is renaming. We contact PPP, PML (N), Imrna Khan, MQM, Jamat E Islami, Sheikh Rashid in Rawalpindi, Mian Aslam, Nayer Bukhari of PPP is also an effective leader in Islamabad. We contact political representatives who support us we vote for him. We also have a worth / power of vote in near future. We have to contact with human rights activists to help us. Electronic media anchors like Hamid Mir, Mubashir Luqman, and other famous news channels anchors to help us.
When we jointly employees plus pensioners 420,000 will be on the roads from Peshawer to Karachi Then we will see who will stop us and then we will get (snatch) our right from PTCL Crowed Contract Mafia Management.
The Govt and PTCL is not fulfilling their commitments according to PTCL Act 1996. So we have to snatch our rights by force, by protesting at roads, by protesting one day at each and every station district of the country.. We have to make plan to protest one day from Peshawer to Karachi that in each district PTCL employees and pensioners protest before the each Press Club of the country in each and every district. Then media give us time. Or on each sunday go to protest at press clubs all over the country but for this we only need a strong leadership and hard workers. PTCL Management illegally sack employees from their services where are the courts. Why they did not take action but the sacked employees also need to go to court. They are making MAFI NAMY and affidavit to Management. These employees never make an FIR against Management but they are only defending the FIRs Management launch against them. Employees are facing terrorist FIRs which were thrown out by courts that these are baseless but the employees did not launch cross FIR against Management that why they launch bogus FIR against people. All the above things are true please think am I right and I need ur comments and advices. If we make a fund and collect only one Rupee from each person for every month it will be Rs.420,000 Then we have sufficient funds to go to courts and other to pay RISHWAT.
Please think frame committees at ur own level we gave u funds, expertise, coordination, with employees and pensioners, administrative people, engineer, accounts finance people through out the country, their contact numbers because without strong coordination it will not be possible. Kindly it is intimated that the PTCL Management many times remarks have been passed in their speech that field staff is the face of PTCL but the status of face of PTCL is very low due to pay, I am BB Tech and working as CPEI (installation of Broadband and removing the BB complaints) I am graduate and office management in computer and my basic pay is RS. 7240/- (BPS-09) while the basic pay of my street sweeper servant of Municipal Committee is Rs.9830/- (BPS-2) this is very shame for the face of PTCL. It is humbly requested that our pay scale may be revised immediately.
