PTCL EVO Broadband Wireless Wins Consumer Choice Award 2012
ISLAMABAD (February 29, 2012) : Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) won the 2012 Consumer Choice Award as the ‘Best Wireless Broadband’ Internet service provider.

Following PTA’s recent recognition of PTCL as Pakistan’s best Broadband Internet service provider in 2011, the telecom giant won the 2012 award.
Consumers Association of Pakistan’s (CAP) organized the event in Karachi, and PTCL EVO won the award at the 7th Annual Consumer Choice Awards ceremony. PTCL stood tall amongst 85 business awards presented in various commercial categories ranging from financial services to FMCG to telecommunications.
During a ceremony attended by representatives of Pakistan’s leading national and international brands, Sindh Minister for Information Technology, Raza Haroon presented the award to PTCL Senior Executive Vice President Business Zone South, Furqan Habib Qureshi.
Speaker Sindh Assembly, Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, business leaders, S M Munir, Main Zahid Husain and Chairman CAP Kaukab Iqbal were also present.
“The Consumers Choice Award is one of the most recognised and prestigious event of the country’s business calendar,” said PTCL SEVP Commercial, Naveed Saeed on the occasion.
PTCL EVO has been winning this award each time.
