Islamabad (Thursday, April 3, 2014) – Executives, human resource experts and political leaders shared their views, experiences and strategies of success with the bright gathering of movers and shakers from different sectors at ‘The Leaders Summit’ and ‘The HRM Summit’ on Thursday.

The festival of leaders was a joint initiative of Pakistan’s leading conference management organisation Nutshell Forum and leading media organisation the Jang Group. The unique learning initiative served as an annual meeting for those who do business, create opportunity and drive change in addition to providing a healthy networking platform for executives and decision-makers from across the industry. More than 400 high-profile dignitaries attended the event.

The conference was divided into four sessions, each packed with thought-provoking speeches by eminent leaders of their respective fields. They said that leaders inspire people rather than commanding them. They stressed upon bringing transformation in the leadership culture in Pakistan and said that good leaders adjust to the changing environment.

Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) President, Walid Irshaid, shared the experience of the privatisation of PTCL. He said that almost eight years ago, PTCL was over-staffed and on the verge of collapse and now it was standing on its feet again.

  2. Decreasing overheads is ok but what about market share and customer base with almost no competition in landline and third class service increase your revenues through customer retention which requires the satisfaction of internal customers
