Description:

Ensure Compliance To Procurement Policies: Monitors the purchasing functions in the assigned depts. as per PTCL policies, procedures and standards. Data Analysis & Record Keeping: Tracks, evaluates and reports the flow monthly purchases and compliance methods/metrics for effective monitoring of purchasing activities. Carries out periodic review and analysis of current systems and procedures in functional area and recommends changes/improvements/enhancements. Facilitates quality, productivity and improvement programs in order to improve/increase operational efficiency. Monitors and verifies quotations/contracts prior to placement of orders to ensure these comply with stated specification, terms and conditions and process them to appropriate signatory for approval. Ensures effective maintenance of files, logs and records and other related documentation in accordance with Company standards. Alerts and/or reports any inaccuracies or concerns to superior as required. Maintain high level of transparency and fairness in all sorts of tenders/ prequalification/ vendor registration falling in his jurisdiction. Provide Assistance / Collaboration: Assists in supplier/vendor sourcing and auditing in order to identify potential vendors and track performance of existing suppliers. Maintains a good business relation with suppliers/vendors to secure favorable terms for the PTCL.. Interfaces closely with relevant departments and arranges for the timely supply of required materials. Liaises effectively with vendors/suppliers/clearing agents for timely coordination of supplies. Assists in dealing with suppliers on price negotiations, contract/payment terms and conditions for effective processing of purchase orders. Performs any other related duties as required.

Advanced degree in Management Sciences/supply chai Masters Degree Advanced degree in Management Sciences/supply chain management or any other degree in relevant discipline.
