PTCL Pensioners Planning Sitin (Dharna) in Islamabad? Daily Aaj Peshawar Published on Dated 15 January 2015
Peshawar (Thursday, January 15, 2015) – Retired employees of Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) is thinking to hold sitin (Dharna) in the capital city, The Islamabad.
An important meeting of PTCL retired employees (pensioners) held in Peshawar. Mr. Ikramullah presided over the meeting. Addressing the meeting Mr. Ikram told that when the T&T was converted into company the Telecom. Re-organization act was approved by the parliament house. According to Telecom Act Etisalat company is bound to give PTCL pensioners all facilities as the civil pensioners are enjoying.
Etislat is deprivng PTCL pensioners from their legitimate rights for last four years. 40000 Ptcl pensioners including 14000 widows are seeking their rights from the Government and Etisalt comopany.
PTCL Pensioners association’s President threatened to hold Dharna in Islamabad, if their demands could not met immediately.
