Pensioners (Retired employees) of the Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) on Monday staged a protest in front of the Lahore Press Club against the meagre raise in their pension. The pensioners chanted slogans against the PTCL administration and management and held placard inscribed with slogans in favour of their demands. They said the PTCL management had made a deal with the government and despite the governmentís orders, their pensions had not been increased which was blatant injustice as the PTCL employees too were government employees.
