Victim claims PTCL officials used various tactics to threat, prevent her from filing case

ISLAMABAD (DailyTimes / News Report Published on Thursday, December 31, 2015) –  Islamabad High Court has rejected the petition filed by the PTCL senior officials against sexual harassment case in the Federal Ombudsman.

According to reports, the female secretary of Pakistan Tele Communication Limited (PTCL) President Waleed Irshad filed the application of sexual harassment against PTCL Human Resource department head Mazhar Hussain, General Manager Naeem Sadique and senior Manager Zulfiqar Qureshi in Federal Ombudsman Islamabad and Judge Yasmeen Abassi is hearing the case.

On the other hand, General Manager Naeem filed the petition for hearing in the IHC. However, Justice Amir Faroq rejected the Naeem’s petition and said that the women judge of federal ombudsman will declare the decision according to the law.

PTCL officials allegedly used various tactics to threaten the victim to prevent her from filing the case, but they have not succeeded so far. The victim claims that culprits also opened fire at victim’s residence to threat her.
