THE BEHAVIOR AND ATTITUDE OF MEMBER BOARD OF TRUSTEES IS BIASED AGAINST BENEFICIARIES AND WE DEMAND RESTORATION OF PENSION IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT NOTIFICIATION OF 5TH JULY,2010 AND 4TH JULY,2011
MEMBERS OF THE PAKISTAN TELECOM PENSIONER TRUST STRONGLY PROTEST ON UNLAWFUL CATAGRICATION OF PENSIONERS AND DEMAND PTET BOARD OF TRUSTEES TO FULFILL CONDITION BINDING UPON THEM UNDER THE LAW AND NOT TO PLAY INTO THE HAND OF PTCL MANAGEMENT WHO HOLDING MINORITY SHARE OF 26% AND DICTATING BOARD TO IMPLEMENT UNLAWFUL CONDITION AND DEPRIVED PENSIONER FROM THEIR LIGITIMATE RIGHTS

We strongly condemn the cruel decision of PTET regarding raise in pension of PTCL Pensioners @8% and request to PRESIDENT & PRIME MINISTER OF PAKISTAN to take notice of UN-justified decision of PTET. I also support with the statement of PTPT with a request to take the matter with HONORABLE COURT of CHIEF JUSTICE OF PAKISTAN. REGARDS.
They adopted policy divide and rule but our
struggle will be continued till final success (Inshallah)

FEDERAL GOVT IS GURANTED FOR PENSIONERS BENEFICIARY ACT 1996, BUT WHERE IS FEDERAL GOVT ,
The PTCL Management and PTET board of trustees is violating the orders of Supreme Court as well as GOP orders. The IT Ministry should intervene and direction may be issued to concern quarter to avoid contempt of Court and such discrimination by issuance of notification contrary to the reorganization ACT, SC orders and Constitution of Islamic Republic Of Pakistan. We may unit and invoke the Jurisdiction of Court.
SC judgment on 7th Oct2011,about which everyone is talking.is not in our case.But it will be helpful in our cases alredy under process in IHC and PHC.
SC has set the rout and decided that employees after 1996 are the liability of PTCL,while appointees before 1996 will be treated as Transfered Employees and Govt of Pakistan is their Guaranteer.
So,the cases in High courts are of great importance.Pray our advocate feel his responsibility.

This is not fair for new pensioners. It should increase 10% atleast.

Pensioners affected by un-justified increase has right to protest and that should be initiated and demonstrated in every city of Pakistan with one direction, backing with media person and on same date besides we have to begin legal battle combindly at the platform of various Association and Organizations of PTCL Pensioners so that struggle could become fruitful in view of terms and condition of employment which has unlawfully been altered in 53rd and 58th PTET Board meeting
held on 27-1-2011 and 25-10-2011 respectively.
We must have move Contempt Application to make answerable PTET Board of Trustees before the competent Court of Law to explain where from they got mandate to put transferred PTCL retired employees into different category and under what law they have acted whereas Honourable Supreme Court in its judgment of 7th Ocrober,2011 in C.A 239-241 of 2009 has settled issue of terms and condition of employment of transferred employee of PTCL in pursuance of Section 35 (2) of Pakistan Telecommunication Re-Organization Act.1996 and accordingly stakeholders can not alter terms and condition of employment to their dis-advantage even Federal Government cannot do it as observed by Apex Court. (Refer para 15 of the said Judgment).
PTCL can only make rule of employment for those employees who have been recruited after 1st January,1996 and in respect of transferred employee proviso to Section 35 (2) of the Reorganization Act.1996 specify their terms and condition which were imposed on PTCL by the said Act as legal obligation therefore neither PTET nor PTCL have mandate to impose new terms and condition on transferred employee
The Pensioners whose initial appointment was made as Civil Servant and retired after 1–1-1996 cannot be put in a different category for the purpose of pensionary benefits who retired in accordance with the same rule of Pension cum Gratuity Scheme of 1956 how one can categorize and divide members belonging to PTCL side mis-guided Government side members for categorization as such Resolution passed by the PTET Board of Trustees in their 53rd and 58th meeting with regard to categorization of Pensioners is void. The Resolution passed
in perfunctory and slipshod manner allowing room to challenge decision of the Board because it has no legal footing therefore liable to be dis-approved.
