Telenor Hum Qadam – Telenor’s 5,000 hours in service

Islamabad (Press Release / Sunday, January 27, 2013) – Under Telenor Pakistan’s employee volunteerism programme, Telenor Hum Qadam, Six Hundred and Ninety Three Telenor Pakistan employees contributed 5,000 hours of community service last year.

Living up to the spirit of community development, Telenor Hum Qadam volunteers contributed their time towards four focus areas, which include disability awareness, education, health and environment.
Speaking about the employee contribution, Vice President Corporate Affairs Telenor Pakistan, Aamer Izhar Ul Haq said, “We are delighted to see our employees coming forward with the spirit of helping others and making this valuable contribution with their time.

Telenor Hum Qadam was launched with the vision to extend the benefits of community development through our employees and we are pleased to see that vision becoming a reality as more community involvement occurs within the Telenor family.

We will continue our efforts towards the community through volunteerism and hope that this spirit of sharing and helping others will continue through 2013.”
