Subject: Unblocking the Channel of Promotion of Non-management Regular Employees

PTCL management places great emphasis on the career development and progression of its employees and strives to provide them with opportunities to move up the organizational ladder. In this context, it has been decided to unblock the promotion channels for the non-management employees which have been barred for quite a long time. For this purpose, the working strength of the company as on 31-12-10 will be considered as its sanctioned strength. All the Regions are required to send the lists of employees as per their inter se seniority to the EVP (HR), PTCL HQs, along with the number of positions at each level that would be required to be created for those recommended for promotions. The OD department, after analyzing the business requirements, will allow the creation of new positions and promotions against these positions will be made by the Regional authorities as per the Company rules and policies. These lists should reach the office of the EVP (HR) by 31st March, 2011. Best regards.
