Lahore (October 13, 2011) : Wateen Telecom made its presence felt at the annual GITEX (Gulf IT Exhibition) Technology Week, held in Dubai, by flying out over 25 IT and business professionals from the banking, government, education, logistics, oil & gas, media and telecommunications industries, to go to GITEX and meet their counterparts from other countries and see the latest in technology and services available in the ICT market today. These clients represent the broad spectrum of industries Wateen Telecom partners with, through its array of products.,
GITEX, held at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (DICEC), is the gateway to one of the world’s fastest emerging and investment ready ICT markets – the Middle East. Known as one of the largest and most important ICT events around the globe, GITEX delivers a leading platform for industry innovation and an impressive track record of attracting the biggest names in the IT sector, connecting over 3,500 domestic and international IT vendors with more than 136,000 ICT professionals.
The event, called Wateen Technology Week, was fully sponsored by Wateen and aimed at building stronger relations between leading figures within Pakistani industry and key figures in the IT and electronics industry from around the world. In this way Wateen hopes to help them learn about new technologies and services being implemented globally and to discover new international best practices that can help their organization grow and become more customer centric.
