Rumors about 2nd phase of VSS in PTCL are becoming more loud and loud. There is no stop
of news about VSS or golden shake hand before June, 2010. Employees of PTCL are in great difficulties. their day and night thinking are lot of about their future.
……… But no solid information is available which can be verified by any quarter of PTCl management.
What will their in future, it may month of June, 2010 will tell.

Expected forthcoming VSS
1. The formula of VSS should be double:
The formula of VSS should be double from previous VSS due to highly increased dearness. The previous VSS opted employees mostly have spent their amounts they received which proved very little for their needs for rest of their lives and now they are jobless and in very poor condition. Some have wasted their all belongings in different business experiments due to lack of experience.
2. VSS should be with reasonable pension:
VSS should be with reasonable pension for all so that most of us have lead major part of our life and are not in condition to do any hard work. Also we have no experience of business. So VSS should be with reasonable pension for all employees so that “GHAR KA CHOOLHA JALTA RAHAI”.
3. If this VSS does not meet above criteria:
If this VSS does not meet above criteria , we should not accept/opt it and retain our services and don’t sign any modification in service rules & regulation offered by company. Company can not modify our service rules & regulation itself as per PTCL act 1996 and SALES PURCHASE AGREEMENT between Govt. of Pakistan and Ettisalat.

It’s very clear PTCL and their employees are suffering allot due to poor management of PTCL.
We know Etisalat is outsider and they are working with us just for their interest but unfortunately we also black sheep’s among us who are our Muslim (PTCL) brothers but working for etisalat agenda.
that’s why we are not comfortable at here more. So, it’s best way we kick out those persons who are fever to etisalat at any cost.
so, first of all thing we need unity and then make fight with etisalat like a single unit of force and every person play his role in this fight like a “ONE MAN SHOW ARMY”

The PTCL officers from 18 grade to the uper grade,they are the main problems for workers they engaged ptcl workers on duty for long hours than the actual duties by threating/blackmailing for action so that the workers do their job from 8:00 to 20:00. beside this, officer take action for nothing to threat employee,in the result PTCL employees are doing their jobs for long hours than the actual duty and getting frustrated and thinking to leave the job by 2nd phase of VSS, that is why PTCL need no more manpower and saved a huge money in the form of salary so all the benifits/achievements go to the contrling officers instead of industrious labours,on the other hand ptcl employees are getting much frustration and this frustration will make emloyees to leave the PTCL by VSS or golden hand shake.so be aware that this is the engineered planning to make mind of ptcl employees to leave their job by vss. In 1st vss phase the managment had same planning which was succeeded more than their expectations,therefore they are troubling employees more than past for two years sothat they may make decision to accept 2nd phase of vss just like the past phase.
in the past VSS, the mejority of workers didnot want to opt vss but there was no unity among the ptcl employees nor union leaders suported employees to save their jobs, union said nothing in the intrest of workers and left the workers to their own decision wether they go to the hell, in the result mejority were left ptcl for very little amount.now their lives are worse than the beggers and no one is ready to listen their problems,even the constitution of Pakistan and ptcl department laws gave the right of pension but the higher authorities of the country are not ready to accept the rights of those empoyees who are deprived of pension and medical facilities.
Therefore i want to give sugession to all ptcl employees that dont trust on any union leader/officer ,just trust on urself and trust to one an other,if you are united then no ptcl union/officer can sell you nor any managment can make you to leave ur job. Listen your job is ur future ,ur parants,ur suportor in the bad time,ur job is ur real friend instead of unionist leader or ptcl managment. so dont leave ur job for others,dont leave ur job for few lack rupees or for any sabaz baagh.trust in ur job not the vss pakage.
ur unity is ur leader if u have no unity then union leaders will sell you for many karor rupees just like we were sold in 2008.
PLease take VSS only in one condition, if managment let you to make vss package for urself instead of union or managment, because managment will never think for ur profit they will always do for their best.

If ur job,ur salary is nothing then why PTCL are giving you rupees to leave the job,why they dont spend this money to improve the ptcl services or for any other bisiness because they know that there is no good business to hacke the salary of employees than the other job, then they will appoint new or same labours for salary few thousands rupee to run the ptcl.
Etisalat violated all the terms and conditions with ptcl and is defaulter but there is no one to aske the etisalat and PTCL or the responsible authority of govenment but every one keep his eyes to aske the innocent hardworking employees,Etisalat is trying to pay instalments from the income of ptcl that is posible just becaz of workers not any officer.
National assembly members and govenment Minister confess that this deal was very bad for us and etisalat violated all terms and conditions and we have rught to cancel the deal.if the managment dont fulfill her terms then how they can take care of employee benifits.

Beside this i want to say that dont listen to any propaganda nor think about that you should accept VSS or not because it would make you double minded and consiquetnly you may decide to lose ur job.
And People are blamming ETISALAT ,i think ETISALAT is a good company for employee but the black sheeps of PTCL are disterbibg everything. because the employee of ETISALAT are very happy in UAE ,even PTCL deputed emloyees to the UAE are very happy with the benifits provided from ETISALAT therefore they dont want to come back to work under ptcl. i think PTCL management or some people belong to blacksheeps dont let emplyees and ETISALAT to build trust each other or to make relation so the things are going more worse. Well in my opinion workers style and thought is pathetic. Especially line man. He has same mind as earlier was pay Rs.20 your number will work otherwise not. At that time PTCL was alone now cell phone has over 1100 million connections. people have multiple option now they are not bound for ptcl. But low level class especially Line man supervisor who are also strongly involve in politics are manin hurdle. So i think for PTCL bett future PTCL must get rid off of these at any cost.
So VSS will be suitable for Company.
Things will not occur on wishes but will happen in the senorio of global changes. If company has well enough financial resources to give , they will give it. other wise …………….. PL pray for good.
Yes employee are no more optimistic about their future after having experience of working with Etisalat so employee must ask to be offered a handsum VSS package and pension as well.

I can opt vss if
(i) its amount is doubled as previous one
(ii) pension equal to current pay (basic + incentive + good conduct) is given
(iii) medical facility to all family members is given forever

Guys being an outsider, I don’t know much about what is going on…but as an end user of PTCL I know one thing that PTCL employees are very inefficient as far as service level is concerned. It is a norm to not respond to the complaints. My own telephone is dead for about an year and I have lost the hope of having it fixed and adopted other means of communication. However, the Internet and all the other latest services offered like Internet are doing very well and customer service and response is also very adequate. In short, I believe the older employees have adopted a typical ‘sarkari’ behavior and do not want to improve and only cry when some action is taken. Such employees should be thankful that they are being provided a chance and getting handsome money. If they were in private sector they would have been fired a long time ago.
And don’t get started me on the role of unions. A driver getting 50K, and we wonder why the organizations like PIA, Steel Mills, are going to dogs….
